Alfie & Amber will be released this Sunday 29th June 2014 at 2:00 p.m. on Courtown main beach, Co. Wexford. We'll be meeting at 1:15 p.m. and releasing at 2pm on the dot, so don't be late!
Alfie came to us as a badly injured pup with 4 very broken and infected teeth which we promptly removed. We suspect he was caught in a really bad winter storm and pushed against some rock, causing his teeth to break. He was also battling with a chest infection and the seal pox. Tough start to life!
Amber was a very underweight pup suffering from a chest infection and stomach upset, and also had the seal pox and eye troubles. Now that she is over all of her health problems, she has put on a lot of weight and is beautifully round.
Thankfully both these grey seal pups are finally back to good health and tipping the scales at just over 35kg! They are both properly fit and fat as a seal pup should be!
Please join us in bidding them farewell - the more the merrier! Feel welcome to bring children of all ages, but they will need to stay back and give the seals plenty of room at all times.
Dogs can often frighten the seals, so we ask that they be left at home if possible. If you are bringing your dog, please keep them well away from the seals at all times. :)

We hope to see you there!
