Meet Finn and Flash

Finn was rescued and transported on 22nd December 2015 from Kilmuckridge Co Wexford by Hugh, Jeff and Christina. Finn was around 2 months old and weighed only 14kg. He was emaciated and dehydrated but thankfully he had no serious injuries.

When Finn arrived he was initially given fluids, a heat lamp and plenty of warm blankets. After a few days he progressed onto fish soup. Finn is doing well and has started to put on some much needed weight. He has even started to nibble on fish but has not quite figured out how to eat all on his own yet. He is also enjoying daily baths in his kennel.

Flash was also rescued on 22nd December. He was found by Marianne Kenny at Grattan Beach in salthill Co Galway. Huge thanks to Andrew, Ronan and Joe for transporting him to the centre.
Flash was around 3 weeks old and still had small bits of his lanugo baby fur. He was very small and dehydrated and he also had a few infected wounds.

Flash has improved so much since he arrived, all his wounds have healed and he is eating all on his own while enjoying daily baths.

Hopefully it will not be long before Flash is moved into the pools.
