After many years working closely with Neil Walton of VOYA Seaweed Baths in Strandhill Co. Sligo as our local area rescue co-ordinater, responsible for the rescue and transport of dozens of seal pups in distress in and around Sligo; We were absolutely humbled when VOYA offered to sponsor our Rescue Centre.

VOYA is a family run Irish business based in Sligo on the wild Atlantic coast of Ireland. VOYA are proud to have produced the world’s first range of genuinely organic seaweed-based products and spa treatments. Their products contain as much organic ingredients as possible and are specially chosen to complement the natural properties of seaweed. They strive to make our impact as low as possible and be an example for environmental responsibility, not just in the world of beauty. All of VOYA’s products are made without mineral oils, genetically modified ingredients, or synthetic colours, fragrances and preservatives and are suitable for sensitive skin types. Every VOYA product contains extracts from wild seaweed, which has been sustainably hand-harvested by the Walton family. VOYA’s environmentally friendly range is packaged using recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials.

“VOYA and the team here in Sligo are delighted to be working closely with Ally and Ciaran at Seal Rescue Ireland. Working with marine ingredients means the ocean plays a very central role in what we do, so we felt it was important to sponsor and support a company with that same synergy. The time, effort and strength Ally , Ciaran and their volunteers invest into looking after the rescued seals and various marine life is tremendous and we’re delighted to be working with them”, Kira Walton.
