Marketing & Media Manager

SRI is currently accepting applications for the full-time role of Marketing and Media Manager, with a start date set for the beginning of November. This position is responsible for overseeing media activities across all of SRI’s growing digital channels, and ensuring the production of quality, timely and engaging content relevant to our work in wildlife conservation and environmental stewardship. The candidate must have strong writing and design skills with the ability to delegate and multitask. The successful candidate will train and supervise interns and will work closely with the Executive Director and senior management to develop campaigns that deliver on SRI’s fundraising and mission objectives. The role will be responsible for maintaining our website, increasing conversions and growing the organisation’s online presence through continuous optimisation of SRI’s digital channels and marketing presence.

Education Manager

The Education Manager will be responsible for overseeing and developing SRI’s marine conservation and sustainability-focused education programmes.
The successful candidate will be expected to plan, develop and deliver educational talks, programmes, and activities tailored to audiences of various ages, interests, and curricula. They will plan and participate in outreach events, school/community group tours, fundraisers, and networking events in order to represent SRI and promote SRI’s mission.

Marketing & Media Manager

The Marketing & Media Manager is a full-time salary position, responsible for overseeing media activities across all of SRI’s digital channels. The successful candidate will train and supervise interns and will work closely with the Executive Director and the senior management team to develop campaigns that deliver on SRI’s fundraising objectives. This person must be passionate about the mission and be self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks at once. Food and accommodation are available within staff/volunteer housing.

Assistant Animal Care Manager

SRI is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Animal Care Manager. This high paced, full-time position is for a minimum of 6 months. The successful candidate will be a responsible individual who will assist in supervising programs, interns/volunteers, daily husbandry of animals in care, and take on necessary office duties to keep the centre running when the Animal Care Manager is off duty. He or she will also work closely with the Animal Care Manager and Operations Manager in all aspects involved in running a wildlife hospital. This position is split between working with the animals and working on administrative tasks in the office. This role starts as an unpaid position but includes free food and accommodation. After one month’s probation, a stipend is considered based on experience and performance. SRI likes to promote from within, and this role can lead to employment opportunities within the organisation based on demonstrated performance.

Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is a full-time salary position, responsible for overseeing the daily operations at SRI. Duties include, but are not limited to, overseeing office administration, HR, Health & Safety, Finances, delegating out duties, recruiting/training new staff and volunteers, programme development, and execution of its mission. SRI is a small organisation, so candidates must be extremely versatile with the ability to take on multiple roles. This person must be passionate about the mission and be self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks at once. Food and accommodation are available within staff/volunteer housing.

Animal Care Manager

The Animal Care Manager (ACM) is responsible for overseeing daily operations of SRI’s wildlife rehabilitation hospital and ensuring the facility is providing the best in animal welfare. This is a high paced position split between overseeing animal care, management tasks and administration in the office. The candidate will be required to work closely with the Executive Director and Operational Team in all aspects involved in running a wildlife hospital including but not limited to animal care, budgeting, and assisting in rescues and releases. The Animal Care Manager is responsible for overseeing and delegating responsibilities to a team of Assistant Animal Care Managers as well as long term and short term volunteers.
