Seal Rescue Ireland
Educational Programmes
During our educational sessions, students engage in a 30-minute talk exploring the significance of seals in the Irish marine ecosystem, including the threats they face and ways to protect them.
Following this, they embark on a interactive tour of our rescue facility, meeting our seals and participating in games and activities to reinforce their knowledge. As part of the experience, students have the opportunity to adopt a seal, receiving its rescue story, a certificate of adoption, and regular updates on its rehabilitation journey.
Experience a 20-minute indoor talk delving into the challenges facing seals in their natural habitat, followed by a 25-minute outdoor tour of our rescue facility, where students can meet our seals up close.
Additionally, consider adopting a seal to stay engaged in animal care and marine conservation post-visit. This immersive experience will leave your class prepared for science projects or environmental initiatives.
